Glory Days

Glory Days by Vince Ornato Jr., Oil, 17 x 29

Oil on Panel 17 x 29 $5,500.00 USD Sold

My painting of Pittsburgh's renown Jones and Laughlin mill, that spans the Monongahela River, from Southside to Second Avenue via the Hot Metal Bridge, depicts the city's glory days.  The company was founded in 1852 and originally produced iron.  The factory began steel production in 1886 and went on to manufacture the materials used in skyscrapers throughout the world, as well as a thousand other products.  You can have this image on your wall! Giclee  prints are available in the Prints available in Fine Art Prints, Pittsburgh collection.
